I believe that creating a tangible, physical dialogue about the world that surrounds us is
the responsibility of artists. Each piece of jewelry or object I make is a
sculpture that relates to the human body through utility or the
implication of utility.
I believe that art should have integrity
in its craftsmanship, method of fabrication, concept, presentation, and
materials used; and that each of these requirements is of equal
importance. Anything short of this is a waste of time for both
the artist and the viewer.
